Water Levels at Scharenberg's

Water Levels have been very low since the summer of 2005, which is quite a contrast from the high levels of the 1980s.  Scroll down for some photos illustrating this change at the resort.

Photo Essay 3:  Looking East toward Scharenberg's

November 2006 - Plenty of room for everyone to store their piers and boatlifts out of the ice's way.  If you can see the seawalls in front of the resort's cottage, I remember when the water level was well over halfway up those walls!  Hard to believe, but check out the next picture.

April 1984 - The water is up to the woods.  It appears that this is before the resort built the seawall to protect their cottages.
